Slavoj Zizek, the Slovenian philosopher and cultural critic talks to AlJazeera English's Riz Khan about the unsustainability of global capitalism and the welfare state. Zizek published an interesting piece the same topic (he recently published a book, Living in the End Times) in Religion and Ethics.
I was born and raised in Morocco. My research focuses on the intersections between Islam, Arab popular culture and the media. I'm currently an assistant professor in the School of Journalism at the University of Colorado-Boulder.
